A RICH HISTORY Please note – we will be closed Easter Sunday, April 16
Ed and Susan Auler, known as the “First Family of Texas Wines”, helped jumpstart the rebirth of Texas winemaking in the mid 1970s when they planted their first grapes in 1975 at Tow, Texas. This began their journey to put FCV wines on the global map. Ed used his legal expertise to create the Texas Hill Country AVA Appellation. Together, they have worked hard crafting legislation and building a viable wine industry, while amassing 40 years of special memories when their wines were poured at 4 Presidential Inaugurations, State Dinners for Prince Charles, Vladimir Putin, the Premier of China, as well as for Wolfgang Puck Benefits and James Beard dinners.
In this 4th decade of winemaking, the Aulers have taken a bold step by hiring international winemaker, Sergio Cuadra, to take Fall Creek wines to the world stage. Recommended by renowned California winemaker, Paul Hobbs, Cuadra is focused on extracting the best wines from the Texas Terroir, and is already gaining national attention and putting the spotlight on Fall Creek Vineyards wine.
