Since its inception, Fall Creek Vineyards has had one goal...to produce some of the truly great wines of the world. Today, Fall Creek continues to be a leader in the world wine industry, and its wines have received countless awards in state, national and international competitions. Fall Creek is the only Texas winery to receive a BEST BUY in the Wine Spectator. Additionally, Wines and Vines recognized Susan Auler as one of the TOP 50 PEOPLE in the world wine industry. 2003 MERITUS received a DOUBLE-GOLD MEDAL at the 2006 Tasters Guild International Consumers' Wine Judging

2004 Chenin Blanc received a GOLD MEDAL at the 2005 Lone Star International Wine Competition.

2003 Granite Reserve received a GOLD MEDAL at the 2005 Lone Star International Wine Competition.

2003 Granite Reserve received a GOLD MEDAL and BEST OF SHOW at the 2005 WST Texas’ Best Wine Competition. In addition, it was the Highest Scoring wine in the competition.

1999 MERITUS received a GOLD MEDAL and BEST OF CLASS at the 2004 Houston LSR International Wine Competition.

1999 Reserve Merlot received a GOLD MEDAL and “Highest Scoring Red Wine in the Competition” at the 2002 WST Media Choice Wine Competition.

2000 Granite Reserve received a GOLD MEDAL at the 2002 WST Media Choice Wine Competition, Cabernet Division.

1999 Reserve Chardonnay received a GOLD MEDAL at the Lone Star Wine Competition.

1999 – Susan Auler, Co-Owner of Fall Creek, was chosen by Wines and Vines as one of the ‘Top 50 People in the World Wine Industry’.

1998 Merlot received a GOLD MEDAL & “BEST RED WINE” from the Wine Society of Texas Springfest Wine Competition.

1997 Sauvignon Blanc received a ‘BEST BUY’ from The Wine Spectator. (Only Texas winery to ever Receive a BEST BUY from The Wine Spectator)

1996 Chenin Blanc received a GOLD MEDAL and “Best New World Chenin Blanc” at Jerry Mead’s New World International Wine Competition.

1996 Cascade received “Best New World White Meritage Under $10” at Jerry Mead’s New World International Wine Competition.

1994 Sauvignon Blanc received a GOLD MEDAL and “BEST OF CLASS” at the Lone Star Wine Competition.

1994 Muscat Canelli received a GOLD MEDAL and “Best of Show” at the Texas Wine Classic.

1994 Chenin Blanc received a GOLD MEDAL at the Best of Texas Wine Competition.

1993 Granite Reserve received a GOLD MEDAL and “Best of Class” at the Lone Star Wine Competition.

1992 Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc received a GOLD MEDAL at the Beverage Testing Institute’s American Wine Competition.

1992 Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc rated ‘90’ in the Wine Enthusiast.

1992 – In a tasting held in Paris, France in 1992, Fall Creek’s Reserve Chardonnay was tasted against 10 of the finest White Burgandys and outscored all of them but one. Fall Creek came within a half point from capturing top honors.

1990 Reserve Chardonnay received a GOLD MEDAL at the International Eastern Wine Competition.

1990 Sauvignon Blanc received a GOLD MEDAL at the Southwestern Wine Competition.

1989 Emerald Riesling received a GOLD MEDAL at the Southwestern Wine Competition.

1989 Chardonnay received a GOLD MEDAL at the International Eastern Wine Competition.

1988 Carnelian received a GOLD MEDAL at the Atlanta International Wine Competition. (Voted TOP 10 WINES of the competition)

1988 Sauvignon Blanc received a GOLD MEDAL at the Southwestern Wine Competition.

1987 Chardonnay received a GOLD MEDAL at the Texas Wine Classic.

1987 Chardonnay received a GOLD MEDAL at the Texas Restaurant Association Classic.

1986 Emerald Riesling received a GOLD MEDAL and chosen “Best White Wine in Texas” at the Texas Wine Classic.

1982 Carnelian received a GOLD MEDAL and “Best of Show” at the Dallas Morning News State Fair of Texas.
